Soles for Souls Collection

Saint Saviour Catholic Academy will again be collecting new / lightly used shoes to support those in developing countries across the world until school lets out.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our families, faculty and aligned parishes, we collected over 200 pairs of shoes last year!

Please see details from the Soles4Souls website:

Soles4Souls provides both short-term relief and long-term solutions to global poverty. Visit online at

Short-term relief-free shoe and clothing distribution: Everyday, people are exposed to life threatening diseases, children are prevented from attending school, adults are unable to work, because they lack adequate clothing and footwear. New shoes and clothing provides relief to people living in extreme poverty in developing nations, in times of disaster, and helps bridge the economic gap in the United States and Canada.

Long-term solutions-job creation (micro-enterprise): Soles4Souls’ micro-enterprise model provides people living in deep poverty in developing nations the opportunity to start and sustain small businesses selling shoes. Donated new and gently-worn shoes act as a resource to help entrepreneurs generate income to provide for themselves and their families.

Containers will be posted in the rear of the After School area for donations. Please pair the shoes and secure them together before donating. Thank you!
