Age Requirements
– Nursery (3-year-old) students must be three years old by December 31
– Pre-K students must be 4 years old by December 31
– Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by December 31

School Tours / Buddy Days

– Tours are by appointment and for adults only
– Students can visit our school on a Buddy Day
– Tours and Buddy Days can be scheduled through Michele, information above (All tours are now virtual due to COVID-19)

History In Brief
– Saint Saviour Elementary School was founded in 1906. (More history)

Student and Faculty Body– Approximately 380 students enrolled in Nursery through 8th Grade- Average Pre-K-8th Grade class size: 20
– While the majority of the student body hails from the local area, we do represent most zip codes in Brooklyn
– Cultural, ethnic, religious, and economic diversity is welcomed and well-represented
– Each year, graduates are accepted into prestigious Catholic, public, and private high schools
– 40 faculty and staff; majority with graduate degrees in their field
– Special subjects include: Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Library and Media

– After School offered from dismissal until 6 PM
– Enrichment Classes after school. Past classes include Art in the Studio, Italian, Silly Science,
Puppet Workshop, Yoga, Origami, and World Drumming
